Team Management, Transfers, and Captaincy

Pre-Season Freedom

Before the first match kicks off, you have complete freedom! Make as many transfers as you like to fine-tune your squad. This is your chance to experiment and build a powerful foundation.

In-Season Strategy

Once the matches begin, transfers become a precious commodity. You're allotted 210 transfers for the entire league stage (approximately 3 per match leading up to match 70). Plan wisely!

  • Between match 70 and the first playoff game, unlimited transfers are allowed.
  • For the playoff stage, you will have 10 transfers.

Captain and Vice-Captain Dynamics

Update your captain and vice-captain selections before each match. Your captain earns double points, and your vice-captain earns 1.5x points, significantly impacting your score.

Timing is Key

  • Transfers made before a match's start time will apply to that match.
  • Changes made after the deadline take effect in subsequent matches.

Important Note: Match Abandonment

  • If a match is abandoned due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, it's still treated as a completed match for fantasy purposes.
  • Transfers made are not refunded.
  • Any points scored before the abandonment will still count.

Key Takeaways

  • Strategic transfer management is crucial for success.
  • Captain and vice-captain choices can make or break your score.
  • Pay attention to match deadlines to ensure transfers take effect.
  • Abandoned games still count towards fantasy points.
